Cortona Italy Destination Wedding

Photographing a destination wedding in Italy, has been one of my life's goals…along with getting engaged to my most amazing boyfriend and partner in crime. This year…I have been blessed with receiving both!!

Yes, it is true. We are now engaged too 🙂

Patrick, I couldn't have done such an amazing job without you. All of your hard work photographing and support, your patience while I work late hours into the night…and your unending support of allowing me to follow my passion even when it means weekends apart. Thank you for such an amazing trip and for all of you help along the way. And thank you to my new friends and their family for inviting us to photograph such an amazing destination wedding in Italy, of whom I've promised to keep secret for privacy reasons.  But truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for having us be a part of your wedding, and allowing us to capture the most beautiful moments of such an emotional journey.

It is to you two that I dedicate this post  xo! Dia & Patrick

The ceremony took place in the beautiful hilltop town of Cortona. Perched high above the Tuscan countryside, the civil ceremony took place inside the Town Hall, opera singers and all. The couple then exited the town halls beautiful steps for a warm and grand welcome by close family and friends. Everyone then proceeded to walk through the historic town to the Cathedral where the couple enjoyed a traditional religious ceremony. Guests then made their way back to the hilltop villa overlooking Lago Trasimeno where the couple and their family spent the week enjoying the Tuscan Sun.

For respect to the couple's wishes, I will only be showing just a few images without faces and names.
